Portable Storage Units in Norco CA

Norco is part of Riverside County in Southern California. The name Norco is an abbreviation for North Corona. The three major employers of Norco are Corona- Norco Unified School Districts, California Rehabilitation Center and Naval Surface Warfare Center.

Norco also has a self-proclaimed nickname: “Horsetown U.S.A.”. This nickname began in 2006. There is a cement mural, which can be seen off of the Interstate 15 freeway near the 6th street exit. The mural depicts horses and the Norco nickname “Horsetown U.S.A.”. Portable storage containers do play a role in the equestrian community. They are used mostly for on-site storage of equipment and other supplies. The residents of Norco want their city to be seen as a place with “city living in a rural atmosphere”.

Norco has horse trails instead of sidewalks and corrals and hitching rails outside of its businesses. The residents of Norco still want to keep their reputation as an animal friendly rural town even though more people from Orange County are buying houses in the Norco Hills, which do not have horse accommodations.

The Norco Valley of Commerce sponsors the Norco Valley Fair every summer. The fair holds events including rodeos, rode dances, the Miss Rodeo Competition, Rashauge’s Shooting Range, the pet parade, wild cow milking, snail races, and other exhibitions. The fair grounds do require container rentals and we are proud to support their efforts. Tickets are sold in the form of buttons that patrons wear throughout the parade.

Our Portable Storage Los Angeles location is a stone’s throw from Norco in nearby Ontario. From this location, we deliver units to Norco with fast delivery and great rates. Over 30 years experience has taught us how to save renters time and money with their rentals.

The fair is held at George Ingall’s Equestrian Event Center. The center is located at 6th street and Crestview. The center holds other horse shows and community events throughout the year. The event center is currently under construction with the help of container rentals. The goal is to add a second covered horse arena and expand in other ways. The arena is opened to community members on certain weeknights.

The Norco Animal Rescue Team (NART) was founded in 2003 after the October wildfires. These wildfires damaged San Bernardino County and other areas in San Diego. The fires greatly endangered the many horses in Norco that is why this program was created. NART has a sling on a helicopter that is able to rescue horses from ravines, floods, fires and other disasters. This program has helped rescue countless horses since its creation in 2003.
