Alhambra is a city in Los Angeles County, California. Alhambra is conveniently located just 8 miles from downtown Los Angeles. There are many freeways that connect Alhambra to the larger Southern California area. The Long Beach Freeway runs through the Southwestern portion of Alhambra. The San Bernardino Freeway runs through Southern Alhambra. We use these freeways to deliver portable storage containers throughout Southern California. Some major streets in Alhambra are Main Street, Atlantic and Valley Boulevards, Fremont and Garfield Avenues, and Mission Road. Public transportation is available through the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transit Authority and Alhambra Community Transit. A proposal was proposed in the summer of 2010 to build an extension of the California High-Speed Rail System in Alhambra along the San Bernardino Freeway. This proposal is still in process and may be realized in the near future.
One ionic business in the city of Alhambra is “The Hat”. This is an outdoor restaurant that began in Alhambra in 1951. It is now a Southern California chain restaurant. Their original location does not have a unit on the premises but we would be happy to serve them in the future. The Alhambra location still displays its retro décor and a sign that reads “World Famous Pastrami”.
A new condominium complex is undergoing plans for development on the Western side of Alhambra. This complex would hold 351 condominium units and a parking structure. It’s very likely that container rentals will be needed for on-site storage and other capacities. The construction will include portable storage to provide the necessary on-site storage for equipment and materials. The Ratcovich Company is funding this project. The Ratcovich Company also built the Alhambra office complex.
There are many points of interest in Alhambra. These include the Pasadena Model Railroad Club, Renaissance Plaza, Dupuy’s Pyrenees Castle on Grandview Dr., and the Ramona Convent. The Alhambra Place Shopping Mall is located on Main Street and Garfield Ave. and offers many selections of boutiques and stores for its visitors.
